Condition & Quality

At True Designer Bag, we specialise in authentic pre-loved designer bags. As these are pre-owned and vintage pieces, signs of wear may be present. These characteristics often form part of a bag’s unique character and history.

For full transparency, we clearly state the condition of every bag in its product listing. We also provide detailed photographs of any signs of wear, so you know exactly what to expect.

Our condition ratings

Excellent

The bag is in exceptional condition, with minimal or no visible signs of wear. It has been very well preserved and appears almost as new.

Very good

The bag shows light signs of wear consistent with normal use. These are limited and do not affect the bag’s appearance or functionality.

Good

The bag shows visible signs of wear, such as light wear to the corners, handles or hardware. It remains in good condition and is fully functional.

Fair

The bag shows clear signs of use and wear across several areas. Despite these signs, it remains wearable and functional.

Vintage condition

Due to their age, some vintage bags may show more visible signs of wear. These may include discolouration, scratches, leather wear, cracking or other characteristics typical of an authentic vintage piece. We always describe and photograph these details as accurately as possible.

Transparency first

We aim to describe every bag as honestly and accurately as possible. Any damage, discolouration, repairs or other notable details are stated in the product description and shown in the photographs wherever possible.

We recommend reviewing both the description and all photographs carefully before making a purchase.
